Suzette Hemmings

Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, CCFG

Suzette Hemmings is Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for the Capital & Credit Financial Group. In this capacity, she is responsible for the establishment of an integrated risk management policy framework for all aspects of risk across the Group, including the quantification of management’s risk appetite through specific limits.

Miss Hemmings is a Chartered Accountant who has over 12 years auditing experience in both the local financial industry and the offshore banking industry. Miss Hemmings served as a Manager at Deloitte and Touche (Bahamas) before joining the Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG).

As CCFG’s Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Miss Hemmings guides the Organisation’s leadership in the development of the Risk Management vision. She is also responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive and integrated management strategy by focussing on the financial market, the regulatory environment, compliance and operational risks.

Miss Hemmings is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica; and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and ICAJ Current Affairs Committee.
