Maria Antoinette Jones

Maria Antoinette Jones was appointed to the Board of CCFG on May 22, 2008 and has been a Director of CCMB since August 17, 2001.  She is a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Youth & Culture and is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Management Institute for National Development (MIND); a pioneer Executive Agency of the Government of Jamaica. She was also attached to the Ministry of Finance and Public Service as a Permanent Secretary before retiring from public service toward the end of 2010.

Mrs. Jones holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, specialising in Marketing, from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a BSc. Degree (Hons.) in Management Studies also from the UWI. Prior to joining Central Government, Mrs. Jones worked with Air Jamaica for 21 years, holding several senior management positions including that of Vice President of Marketing & Sales. She was also an entrepreneur for six years.
