Carlton Earl Samuels
Carlton Earl Samuels, CD, FCA, FCCA, MBA was appointed a Director of the CCFG Board on May 22, 2008 and has been a Director of CCMB since February 16, 2007. Mr. Samuels, who is the former Managing Director of the National Housing Trust, is a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Chapman Graduate School of Business, Florida International University. In 2006, Mr. Samuels was conferred with the Order of Distinction (Commander Class) for his outstanding contribution to the Housing Sector in Jamaica. In 1997, he received the University of Technology (UTECH) Outstanding Alumnus Award.
Mr. Samuels also serves as a Director on the Boards of; Sagicor Pooled Investment Funds Limited, Harmonisation Limited, Harmony Cove Limited, Silver Sands Estates Limited, The Wharf Limited, Montpelier Orange Company Limited and United Way of Jamaica. He is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Caribbean Association of Housing Finance Institutions and a Member of the Council of UTECH and is also Chairman of the Audit Committee for that institution. Mr. Samuel is a Trustee of the Cornwall College Trust and a Past President of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew.
