JSE BEST PRACTICES AWARDS
The Jamaica Stock Exchange hosted its sixth Gala Banquet for the 2010 Best Practices Awards on December 7, 2011 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
Each year the Stock Exchange takes the opportunity to acknowledge listed companies and stockbrokerages that have upheld the highest standards of best practices within their organizations and by extension enables the continued growth and development of the Capital Market in Jamaica.
Capital & Credit walked away with two of the coveted prizes: For the second consecutive year, The Group copped the 2nd place award for Best Website Listed Company, which was accepted by Senior Vice- President Group Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Michelle Wilson-Reynolds, while 3rd place for JSE’s Member-Dealer Website went to Capital & Credit Securities Ltd., whose General Manager, Christopher Walker accepted the award.
These awards were given based on the quality and efficiency of the dissemination of information to the investing public via the companies’ website and the content, usability, innovativeness, presentation style and functionality.
