St. Ann Infirmary Gets another Boost from Capital & Credit during Post-Labour Day Project

Team members from Capital & Credit’s Ocho Rios Branch made good on a promise to the St. Ann Infirmary during a post-Labour Day Project in the Parish recently.   The team which visited the Infirmary earlier this year, made a commitment to continue to take advantage of opportunities to contribute to the welfare of the residents.

Although the project had been initially planned for Labour Day this year, a decision was taken to reschedule the activity after sections of the Country experienced the recent period of social unrest.

Paint purchased by the team was used to give a well-needed facelift to a section of the men’s ward at the facility. Ocho Rios Branch Manager, Karlene Mullings, expressed joy that her team was once again able to assist the Infirmary through this initiative. “I am really happy that we had a one hundred percent staff turnout for this project, as the Infirmary really needs all the support it can get,” she said.

Staff members from the Infirmary, along with St. Ann Councillor Garrick, who has responsibility for Poor Relief in the Parish, also came out to support this initiative.
