Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Introduces Debit Card Services to Clients

Customers of Capital & Credit Merchant Bank (CCMB) are now able to access the funds in their accounts more conveniently with the launch of the Bank’s Capital Link debit card services.

 The deployment of this new facility is in tandem with the Group’s overall objective to enhance service delivery by increasing points of access for its members.

 “Clients who have Capital Investor Plus (CIP) and Capital Super Saver accounts will now get the added benefit of debit card access,” stated Michelle Wilson-Reynolds, SVP, Group Marketing & Corporate Affairs.  “The Capital Link debit card is yet another value-added service to our customers who will be able to do their daily transactions more conveniently,” she added.

 Capital Investor Plus account holders who opt for the Capital Link debit card will also enjoy other value-added benefits. According to Mrs. Wilson-Reynolds “the CIP savings account has been reviewed and further enhanced by giving special discounts to these customers on other services offered at Capital & Credit such as Wire transfers; Foreign-Exchange Trading and other benefits such as the ability to tailor regular savings to suit their financial goals.

The Capital Link debit card can be used at any Easi-Access or MultiLink ABM machine to make withdrawals and account enquiries. The card can also be used for Point of Sale transactions at merchant outlets where the MultiLink sign is displayed.

Debit card usage has become an increasingly popular option for people who transact day-to-day business in Jamaica. Since its introduction, consumers have gravitated towards the use of Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) and other services that have allowed them to carry less cash. “Client satisfaction is a number one priority here at Capital & Credit, so this latest service offering only serves to underscore the Bank’s commitment to offer customers secure and convenient solutions,” added Mrs. Wilson Reynolds.
