Capital & Credit Chorale Thrills at the Hilton Caribbean K.I.D.S. Telethon
The Capital & Credit Chorale captivated spectators who came out to support the celebrity-studded K.I.D.S Television Telethon in the Hilton Ballroom on Sunday November 1st. The 18 member group, comprising of employees across the Capital & Credit Financial Group, performed a wonderful rendition of the song ‘Lean on Me’ much to the audience’s delight.
The Capital & Credit Financial Group also made a donation of J$ 25,000 to the Charity in aid of specific programmes directed at improving local schools and clinics across Jamaica.
Speaking on the Group’s contribution to the Charity, Senior Vice President of Group Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Michelle Wilson Reynolds, who also served as the
Chorale’s Director, said that “being a good Corporate Citizen is important and Capital & Credit is committed to maintaining its reputation of giving support for initiatives that profoundly impact the lives of young Jamaicans in a positive way”.
The LIVE Television Telethon which, was successful in raising $3 million dollars in cash and pledges, took place under the theme “Hear the KIDS, Heal the KIDS”. This is just one of the fundraising efforts that take place on an annual basis to raise funds for less-fortunate children in Jamaica. Hilton’s General Manager, Frank E. Rosheuvel, noted that the charity has raised approximately J$30 million over the past six years which has aided over 18 local organizations in the country.
Other artists to grace the stage included Noddy Virtue, George Knooks, Jodian Pantry and To-Isis.

The Capital & Credit Chorale gleefully looks on as Senior Vice President of Group Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Michelle Wilson Reynolds hands over a cheque valued at J$25,000 to Hilton Kingston, GM Frank E. Rosheuvel and Angel Johnson. The Group had just performed their rendition of ‘Lean on Me’ at the Hilton Caribbean Kids Telethon on Sunday November 1st.
