To mark this achievement, a calendar of events over the year has been planned to celebrate this milestone achievement beginning with a Commemorative Church Service at the Garrison Church of Ascension, Up Park Camp in Kingston on Sunday February 1, 2009.

CCFG has involved its valued clients in this celebration with special Customer Appreciation Days launched at Capital & Credit Merchant Bank (CCMB), and Capital & Credit Securities Ltd. (CCSL) in the Ocho Rios offices on Wednesday January 28, 2009, the Kingston offices on Thursday January 29, 2009 and its Montego Bay offices on Friday January 30, 2009.

Since opening its doors for business on January 24, 1994, CCFG has travelled an extraordinary journey to establish itself as one of Jamaica’s outstanding financial institutions and has remained committed to being Solid, Safe & Secure, and Providing Total Financial Solutions for Jamaicans of all ages.

Over the 15 years Capital & Credit has moved from an initial asset base of $30 million to now over $47 Billion in Assets under management, which attests to its commitment to financial growth and integrity. CCFG also boasts shareholders equity of $5 Billion and has expanded to now five subsidiaries namely; CCMB, CCSL, Capital & Credit Remittance Ltd. (CCRL), Capital & Credit Fund Managers Ltd. (CCFM) and Capital & Credit International Inc. (CCII).

During the period, the company, co-founded by Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ryland T. Campbell C.D. and Deputy Group President, Mr. Andrew B. Cocking, has achieved other impressive status including being the first merchant bank in Jamaica to list on both the Jamaican and Trinidadian Stock Exchanges.

Reflecting on the Group’s 15 years of performance Mr. Campbell said having been tried and tested, the Group over these 15 years has steadfastly proven its integrity to deliver solid performance in sync with its core values of Confidentiality, Professionalism, Safety and Personal Integrity. He said in its 15th year the Group is committed to finding innovative ways to serve its stakeholders and add value, improve service and achieve financial growth for all.

The company is well poised to launch technological solutions to enhance its service delivery to its customers in coming months and has already signaled its ability to provide an unmatched network of suitable service options through its recent partnership, through CCRL’s Reggae Money Express, with the major local mortgage lending provider to pay out Contributors’ refunds island-wide as of January this year.
