The Capital & Credit Financial Group has been awarded the top prize for Corporate Social Responsibility in the Small Company Category at the recently held AMCHAM Jamaica Business & Civic Leadership Awards Gala. The elegant awards gala was held at the Jamaica Pegasus on September 26, 2011 and marked the Organisation’s second staging of this event that seeks to celebrate Civic Leadership, as well as leadership in the areas of Arts & Culture and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Capital & Credit launches Environmentally Friendly Financial Solutions

The Capital & Credit Financial Group has launched two new “green” loans aimed at providing effective financial solutions to improve the lifestyles of Jamaicans, while playing its part in helping to protect the environment. Beginning October 3, 2011, Capital & Credit Merchant Bank (CCMB) will offer low interest rate loans to customers to finance Renewable Energy and Solar Water Heater systems.

Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited (JMMB) and Capital & Credit Financial Group Limited (CCFG) hereby announce to their shareholders and the public that they have been in dialogue in connection with JMMB’s interest in making an offer to acquire up to 100% of the issued share capital of CCFG at a price of J$4.55 per share. It is JMMB’s intention that such offer would involve the offer price being payable partly in cash and partly by way of an issue of new ordinary shares in JMMB to the shareholders of CCFG, subject to the necessary JMMB shareholder approvals being obtained.

ERS to Close its Offices in Grand Cayman

Express Remittance Services (ERS), a 40% owned subsidiary company of the Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG), will cease operations in the Cayman Islands as of May 21, 2011.   ERS is responsible for marketing CCFG’s flagship product, Capital & Credit Reggae Money Express, in the Cayman Islands.
