Just visit Capital & Credit Securities offices at, 10-16 Grenada Way in Kingston, 25 Church Street, Montego Bay or 8 Main Street, Ocho Rios, St. Ann ; lodge funds into a trading account, and  give us your trading instructions. You may also purchase CCFG stocks by visiting any other broker of your choice in Jamaica or Trinidad. Trading days in Trinidad are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning at 9:30am. You can also fax your trading instructions to your broker.

Capital & Credit can facilitate the purchase of stocks on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange through two stock brokers in Trinidad. You will be required to open an account with any one of these brokers or, at any of our offices in Kingston, Montego Bay, St. James or Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

The minimum number of stocks that can be purchased on the Jamaica Stock Exchange is 100 units.

Two types of stocks trade on the Jamaica Stock Exchange - ordinary shares and preference shares. These stocks can be classified into a number of different groups: Banking and Financial Services, Manufacturing, Communication, Tourism, Trading, Conglomerates, Insurance and Other Services.

Yes. The Capital & Credit Merchant Bank (CCMB) preference shares are traded on both stock exchanges - JSE and TTSE.

At this time, there is no facility in place to trade stocks on the Jamaica Stock Exchange using the Internet.

When CCFG stocks or any others stocks are purchased, you do not receive a stock certificate. Your stock certificate is held in safekeeping for you at the Jamaica Central Securities Depository (JCSD). The JCSD will send you a statement showing how many stocks you have and the value of these stocks. This information can also be provided to you by your stock broker.

Before you can place an order with Capital & Credit Securities Ltd. to purchase CCFG stocks, we require that you lodge funds, equal to the value of the shares, into an investment account. The funds will be deducted from this interest-bearing account on the settlement date, which is the transaction date plus three business days.

In Jamaica, you can access these funds three (3) business days after the trade has been executed. In Trinidad, trading days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You may therefore access funds three (3) business days after trading on the Trinidad Stock Exchange.
