History
Capital & Credit – 16 Years Of Growth And Success
The Capital & Credit Financial Group’s (CCFG) extraordinary journey began 16 years ago on January 24, 1994. Pioneered by a group of businessmen, the Group quickly cemented its reputation as one of Jamaica’s outstanding financial institutions, which has not only survived the turmoil of the 1990’s financial crises, but was born in and grew its assets exponentially during that period and beyond - a testament of its enduring strength. Solid, Safe & Secure, 16 years later the legacy built on the foundation of Confidentiality, Professionalism, Safety and Personal Integrity lives on. The movement from one, to five subsidiaries and from an initial $30 Million to $50 Billion in Assets Under Management in the short span of a decade and a half, is an unprecedented feat for any indigenous financial institution, let alone a merchant bank of modest beginnings – The Little Bank That Could. Today CCFG is a successful financial entity Providing Total Financial Solutions to a local and global market. With J$5 Billion in capital, its flagship company, Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Ltd., is the best capitalised Merchant Bank in Jamaica.
