The Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG) is steadfastly committed to promoting a better, more caring society and enriching the lives of less fortunate Jamaicans through our contribution to critical areas of national development.
This principle is at the core of our Corporate Social Responsibility and guides our commitment to make a difference in personal and community development through our contributions to Education, Health, Sports, Children’s Welfare and the celebration of our Cultural Heritage.
For 16 years we have maintained this commitment through our contributions to a range of charities and projects, including the United Way of Jamaica, Dare to Care, the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, as well as the direct involvement of our staff members in a number of worthy causes.
UNITED WAY OF JAMAICA
Our partnership with the United Way of Jamaica began in 2001 when the Group donated just under J$500,000 to benefit 23 organisations. Each year, this organisation provides the CCFG with the opportunity to demonstrate our corporate support of Jamaicans from all walks of life.
In 2008, our contribution of over J$1.7 million benefited about 60 organisations and projects involved in worthy causes across Jamaica; these organisations include the Bustamante Hospital for Children, the Jamaica Society for the Blind, Jamaica AIDS Support for Life, the Jamaica Council for Adult Education, the Jamaica Special Olympics and a special donation to the Mustard Seed Community to assist in alleviating the effects of Gustav.
Capital & Credit has been designated a platinum Donor to the United Way’s Nation Builders Programme for its consistent support and its contributions of over J$1.5 million.
