Corporate Communications

Even before it became a publicly-listed company, The Capital & Credit Financial Group had developed and is guided by its Communication Policy. This is intended to inform and provide guidance to ensure that the standards required to effectively manage information coming in and out of the Organization are kept; to project and protect the desired image of the Group; as well as guide all employees in regards to corporate and individual responsibilities. This policy is signed off by the Board of Directors and has been shared with the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

This CCFG Communication Policy outlines specific lines of communication originating from the Organization and coming into the Organization and identifies the responsible officers authorised or expected to make the required disclosures.  It is also intended to guide employees on the desired approach to broad and specific issues and subject matters, including the provision of opinions, analyses, etc., as well as ensure a consistent corporate approach in dealing with the media and general public.

Communiqués Originating from Capital & Credit covering areas such as:  Financial Results; Business Plans and Direction; Commentary on Industry Issues; Corporate Citizenry Announcements; Staff Announcements; Responses to publicly expressed concerns about the companies; Responses to public expressions from discontented customers regarding business transactions or quality of service; Non-Statutory  Communication with Shareholders

  3. Staff Media Exposure
  4. Promotional Messages
  5. Website/Internet communication
