St. Ann Infirmary Gets another Boost from Capital & Credit during Post-Labour Day Project

Team members from Capital & Credit’s Ocho Rios Branch made good on a promise to the St. Ann Infirmary during a post-Labour Day Project in the Parish recently.   The team which visited the Infirmary earlier this year, made a commitment to continue to take advantage of opportunities to contribute to the welfare of the residents.

Although the project had been initially planned for Labour Day this year, a decision was taken to reschedule the activity after sections of the Country experienced the recent period of social unrest. 

Four Institutions Benefit from CCFG Donated Computers during Education Week

In recognition of Education Week observed May 3- 7, 2010, four completely refurbished computers, including CPUs, monitors and keyboards, were donated by the Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG).

The True Missionary Church of God Ministries, St. Peter Claver Primary School; Mustard Seed - Dare to Care Home and Wolmer’s High School for Girls were each recipients of a computer to assist with either their administrative functions or to tutor students.

The Capital & Credit Financial Group will once again join forces with local artistes to raise funds for the children of the Dare to Care Homes in the Mustard Seed Communities with the eighth annual staging of its Signature Corporate event ‘Pickney Love at Christmas’ on Wednesday, December 16 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Capital & Credit Chorale Thrills at the Hilton Caribbean K.I.D.S. Telethon

The Capital & Credit Chorale captivated spectators who came out to support the celebrity-studded K.I.D.S Television Telethon in the Hilton Ballroom on Sunday November 1st.   The 18 member group, comprising of employees across the Capital & Credit Financial Group, performed a wonderful rendition of the song ‘Lean on Me’ much to the audience’s delight. 

The Capital & Credit Financial Group also made a donation of J$ 25,000 to the Charity in aid of specific programmes directed at improving local schools and clinics across Jamaica.

The Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG) has awarded 38 scholarships for the new school year, valued at just over $2.3 million to students at the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels across the island. The Scholarships were presented at the organisation’s official Awards Ceremony held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in Kingston.

Capital & Credit gives Mustard Seed’s Jerusalem a face lift

Members of the Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG) true to their commitment to assist the less fortunate children in Jamaica gave one of the girls’ cottages at the Mustard Seed Communities’ Jerusalem homes in Spanish Town, St. Catherine a face lift on Labour Day, Monday May 25, by repainting inside and out of the facility.

Capital & Credit Raises $1.8 Million for Dare to Care

The Capital & Credit Financial Group (CCFG) has raised over $1.8 million for the  Mustard Seed Communities’ Dare to Care Homes from the audited proceeds from its seventh annual charity concert “Pickney Love at Christmas”. 

Chairman & Group President of CCFG, Ryland T. Campbell C.D., presented the $1.8 million cheque to Executive Director of Mustard Seed, Father Gregory Ramkisoon and Dare to Care’s Donna Reynolds, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the Group’s 6-8 Grenada Way Office in Kingston.
